My Skills
Copywriting
I have had multiple years of copywriting experience during in my roles as Marketing Associate at my local library and as Marketing Assistant at Bryn Athyn College.
Proofreading & Editing
I have a keen eye for detail. My favorite part of earning my English degree was the proofreading process. I love to refine a piece of writing until it is cohesive and fitting to a brand’s style. I will always fight for the Oxford Comma.
Graphic Design
In my budding marketing career, I’ve gained experience in Canva and Adobe programs, such as Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
Online Writing
A big part of my job as Web Editor was writing news articles. My personal writing style tends to be more long-winded and expressive, but online news pieces require the opposite of that. I learned how to write in an efficient way.
Photography
Photography has been a passion of mine since I was young, and I’ve gotten the opportunity to use it in my career. I’ve photographed events for the College, and for the library.
Social Media & Email Communication
I ran the library’s social media account during the beginning of the 2020 pandemic. I promoted virtual events, and every Friday a recipe related to a book. At my college, I was in charge of our Mailchimp account, keeping alumni involved in the college’s current events.
